An utterly ignorant arragont putz who "don't know" anything and has no respect to his powerful competitors. The fact that they put AMG badge on almost all Benz model is deteriorating its uniqueness.

What? C63? Don't know, and don't care. I drive a M3 with 6 speed.

I seriously doubt has is as obtuse as he is leading on. Surely to be in the position he is in, he knows a few things about cars, competition, and of course the industry. To me it appears he is just trying to downplay the competition and to some it could be interpreted as arrogance. No big deal.

This guy works for AMG, right? Should he seriously admit in an interview like this that a rival product is "better" in some way? I don't think so.

Before calling him arrogant or accusing Germans/Europeans as being arrogant, it might be a good idea to actually meet the guy in person because that's the only way his true character can come across.

I suspect economic conditions in Germany at the time meant this was true for most companies/industries.

Are you somehow implying that the 6-speed makes the car better? Because, reality check, it doesn't.

And as Pearlpower says, he's just downplaying the competition. I doubt someone of his stature even cares about an auto mag like MT... he has nothing to prove to these *****.

Isn't the German word for Germany "Doucheland" or something like that?

We can deform your country's name too, y'know. That was uncalled for.

That's how I see it, even if he sounds arrogant. Just a bunch of empty words.
