Up close the LFA does not look much like a Supra but from far away especially some of the videos and pictures of the black ones running around with the spoiler raised it does look very similar to a Supra with Supra like proportions. Up close the Supra has a simpler thicker more rounded look where the LFA has more chiseled sharper details. When the LFA is camoed it looks very similar to a Supra or future Supra iteration. I have heard and seen several people compare its looks and proportion to a lower wider Supra so it is not surprising many find them similar looking especially from a distance. The white ones remind me of a 3000GT but lower, wider, and sleeker. I have no problem with it because I love the looks of the Supra and 3000GT.
There is a video of a black LFA drifting and powersliding by some engineer or driver where it really resembles a Supra but I can't find it. Here are some videos where at some angles you can see it resembling a Supra. One of the videos is even labeled the next Supra![Stick Out Tongue](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

Not the first time I hear and read this. Seems like alot of people either confuse this car with the supra or not knowing about LFA existence calling it supra. And that's sad, it should not be like this. It should be the same as when you point at a Lambo and ask what car is that? The answer You will get won't be Nissan Z or supra.

The 'next Supra' business kinda sounds like ![Unicorn](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/unicorn.gif)
Just kidding, I was looking for an excuse to use that icon...
seriously though, aside from 'next NSX', the 'next Supra' business has gone around for quite some time. TMC now has returned in some fashion to their sport car tradition with the FT-86, LFA, IS-F, etc., so the Supra may not be necessary---dreamed about, but at least there are other sports cars.
IMO, only in the vaguest general sense is the LFA like a Supra, in those pics--white, 2 doors, spoiler, etc. But the LFA is a supercar, and its styling includes sharp angles and lines whereas the Supra was more rounded...

Okay looking at this thread again I still think it has supra design cues. The front end of the car droops down the same way. The supra has the side rear brake cooling vents and the LFA has it a little larger one. To me the LFA just looks like a more futuristic, more aggressive supra.
