FYI, the LFA will be on Top Gear (in the UK) January 3, 2010.

Of course you're not. You're still bitter that despite having money, you likely will not be able to get your hands on an LFA, and have been excessively criticizing the LFA without a shred of evidence in terms of how it performs on the track.

All the LFA critics, I think you will be quite surprised and shocked.

Power-to-weight ratio and numbers on paper are not everything. Machines like the GT-R and M3 have proven this and get a free pass in this regard, yet the LFA is burned at the stake .

 

If the LFA does better than the GTR on the Top Gear track, I will stand corrected. Until then, I maintain my position that the LFA is suffering from hype obesity.

It's not because the picture of the car was taken while it was raining that it's the exact same day it was tested. For all we know, they could have had the car for a couple of weeks.

Most of us will never get the chance to drive the LFA (although Top Gear's Stig took it around the Dunsfold test track yesterday), but after Lexus uploaded a few sound clips to their microsite (http://www.lexus-lfa.com/) we felt compelled to bring them all together into a single 75 second symphony.

We think that it sounds a lot like a Carrera GT, and whatever you think of the LFA, you surely can't deny that it sounds pretty special...

 

One thing I do love about this car, however, are the acoustics. Almost sounds like it has square gears.

I read an article recently saying that popcorn was one of the worst things you can eat, especially the buttered kind. Ya'll should really consider an alternative... Maybe some celery or a carrot stick? haha

 

running a car on like the LFA on a wet track is basically meaningless.
