seriously it better be under 1:19.7. it just can't lose to GTR. it just can't.

that would be humiliating.

I just got a private tweet from LexusPR confirming that the run was indeed wet.

Couldn't they have waited for a day or two? It can't be raining everyday.

It basically does rain every day this time of the year.

they should install sprinklers and always race wet.
level the playing field.

what's the fastest wet track time?

That won't do either because there are varying degrees of wetness, e.g. partly damp, damp, wet, very wet, soaked, flooded (just saying ), etc., depending on how heavy the rain is, which is why comparing wet times is quite meaningless.

Here's the full Power Board with notes on how wet each run is, though the adjectives used to describe wetness can be quite subjective:

If its in the wet the results are pretty meaningless unless you just want to know how it does in the wet. AWD will have the advantage of RWD pretty much every time in the wet and tire selection will come more into play. Until they do a dry run there is no real way to equally gauge how well the LFA performs on the track and how it does against a GTR and other cars raced on a dry track. It is kind of a waste of time but I am sure it will be interesting at least to watch.

On such a short track I would think that the GTRs AWD would be a huge benefit through Gambon and the hammer head. I am very curious to see who will win. As I have stated before the GTR has destroyed cars that weigh in at easily 4-500 lbs less. The Nurburgring is a very very very very long race track so I can imagine that the LFAs relative feather weight would give it an advantage especially on corner exit speeds allowing it to build a higher top speed on the long straights of the nurburgring

I would love to see these 2 monsters chase each other through the "Green Hell". Automotive fantasy
