Cool.
Quite surprising considering the surface conditions. Also, LFA launched from 4500 rpm using launch control rather than 4000 rpm that is stated in the LFA manual.
I am quite sure I timed it conservatively as it could be better than what I got. The only way would have been to see the telemetry data.

Glad you like it. The track surface was not that good for the acceleration run. It was a little scary that the LFA was fighting for traction in second and third gears at full throtle. I have 4 others videos of us doing the acceleration/braking, and lap sessions. However I won't show those because I appeared to drive like a grandpa comparing to those pros
Now my wish is to have some videos of the LFA lapping the 'Ring...

Yes this is the exact package I have.
Just consider how much more fun it would be if we learned how to push the LFA harder.

All that arrived today was the memory stick.
It came in a cool tin with a window to view the stick.
The stick itself was very nice and has a leather strap to hold the cap.
The stick has a photo of me next to the car, a Scott Pruett interview video and a video of one of my driving sessions.
I believe the video was from my second session. I drove the early prototype, then the production car (in the video) and then the early prototype again.
The track session has a view of the driver and audio of the instructor throughout.
There is a data screen with the tach with speed and some g force info to the left of that.
There is a lap counter and timer, I was pretty pokey, doing laps about 2.30 min.
I will have to spend some time to convert the file to upload.
Definitely enjoyed reliving the day in Sonoma.

Just got the USB stick today!
The Pearl Gray (first proto) car did not have any of the telemetry stuff on it - is that the data you're missing? That's actually the main reason I wanted to hook up my GoPro for that round (I didn't bother hooking up mine for the others).
I suddenly feel the need to brag about my lap time - my fastest lead-follow was 2:14.25, during the last lap of the second session (my fastest during the first lead-follow was 2:38, haha - it was so nervewracking just trying to get used to Infineon). Based on my GoPro video of my non-lead-follow laps, on my 2nd-5th laps I was within 1 second of 2:10 on every single lap! I was pretty surprised by that - maybe it speaks more about my instructor than myself. I wonder what the fastest lap was among the students.
Of course, my instructor did about a 1:50 during his hot lap with me, so...

Come on guys - I did 2:02s on the course you drove in 1985 on my 500 Interceptor...this car should do a 1:46 at full speed on the course you were driving with decent track conditions.

Okay got clarification from the video crew that shot it. They were originally going to shoot the Pearl Gray Prototype for the LC sequence, but because of the weather conditions, they used the yellow car for the clip instead.
