Parts prices on the LFA.....
#46
Bringing up a old thread. Any dealers here find the LF-A badges pricing? I looked it up online and it says $4000 lol. I know the car is expensive, but isn't that a bit excessive for a badge? IS-F = $60k and the fender badge is $60. So that's about a 1:1000 ratio. LFA price is $400k and the badge is $4k that's a 100:1 price ratio. Maybe they're just keeping the price purposely high to keep it exclusive
Maybe those prices are wrong, can anyone here working at a dealership find out the actual pricing?

It's a good thing that it's built by Lexus, and race tested.

The cost of front/rear pads and rotors for a Nuri is just shy of 18000. The front wheels are 1800. and the rears are 1950. Lug bolt's are 77.00 dealer cost and yes it takes 36 quarts of MB1 5w50 to complete the oil change. None of the parts are available through the normal ordering process, nothing. It is all done using a special LFA parts request form and being emailed to the FTS. I have a set of wheels on order that are coming from Japan but the oil filter is stocked in NAPCC in CA. It has been an act of god to get the touch up paint because there are so few vehicles produced with that color.
It was interesting to see the PDI done, and how long it actually took...

My dealership tells me just $300 for an oil change. I can live with this.
Replacement key costs $3000. Hand made carbon fiber and titanium. I don't plan on losing it.
Steering wheel? $17,000. Would love one for my IS F but...well...
Engine approximately $100,000 added to the cost of any car, thus unlikely it will re-appear soon in a "GS F" or other mass-marketed product. A "re-tuned" Yamaha V10, however? Eh, who knows?
