I am waiting for the day I see an LFA in traffic just driving on MacLeod Trail or Crowchild trail. It would be one of the happiest days of my life.

It's now official that Canadian LFA buyers can purchase the cars out right with no strings attached.

There was no official words on it, since all cars are sold. Now, with the announcement, the difference is no reselling restrictions at all, which I think are still conditional with US cars in the first 2 years (at least for now).

So I guess that means the existing 10 buyers will not have any no-flip contracts??

wow, i thought for the US, they don't force the lease anymore, but when paying cash, you still have to sign saying no selling the car for more than msrp within 2 yrs, otherwise dealership has first right to purchase the car back (gengar can comment?). so now in canada, you guys can flip the cars any time huh?

Hey rolla, if you save up a lot of money I will go halfs with you on getting a used LFA! we can share it somehow! lol. I'm around the seattle area, so I'm not too far from Canada, at least Vancouver.

Sounds like a plan. Only if I could the mortgage out of the way then we are set for the LFA.

Until Lexus returns the FROR I signed, the assumption must be that the FROR exists and will be enforced. Lexus and/or my dealership may of course have different intent.

By the way, I really doubt the FROR is enforceable if it were to be challenged in a court of law. This is due to a number of legal issues that I won't get into here.
