Didn't know where to put this, so I made a new thread. The LFA is again in SP8 class, only one car this time around, but they'll be racing tomorrow (today in Germany April 2) at the 'Ring. Looking forward to finding out how good they do, and looking forward for some pics! If anyone has more info, please post it!

Ya, I'm looking forward to it. Everything about the LFA I appreciate much more now that I own one - even the track experience in the proto yellow at Joliet/Autobahn last week was that much more amazing, for example, and following the LFA in endurance and other races will be as well. Too bad there are only 3 entries in SP8.

BTW, there is a spelling/typo error for the LFA drivers - that should be Akira Iida, not Lida.

Yeah I know it's Iida- but obviously the organizers of the race don't! lol, oh well- hopefully we get some pictures because I doubt coverage will be great.

These are the qualifying races (I think). There's two 4 hour races at different dates, and then the 24Hour race. So it looks like they're going to be there again.

So is LFA going to be in the Le Mans series?? That is the most important race.

I wish- nothing heard of that yet though, far as I know. Maybe 2012 in SuperGT though. SuperGT is faster and IMO better, but not as popular, at least in America. Wonder how fast the LFA will be in the Nurb races this year though. Last year they were doing 8:50's, their best was from '09 I think. Something around 8:48 was their best time. About 30 seconds off the best times. Not bad for 3200+lbs. huh?

8:36? damn- that's fast- the leaders are about 15 seconds faster, but that cut the gap in half from last year! According to Lexus_eu Twitter, a 911 must have put them off.
