Yes the 2000GT have a much lower production volume and is older.

The 308 had the same specific output as the M1, the 308 made 240 hp from a 3.0L. The LFA is special today is because a non-exotic brand made a very special and outstanding exotic car.

I agreed, just like the 1995 Benz E500, Porsche's involvement made it extra special.
