LFA Nurburgring edition. 7:22:85

Could be possible.
However, the yellow/orange color visible over the hood does scream Nurburgring edition LFA, though.
Also, the LFA Nurburgring edition is parked right beside the video exhibit.
What was interesting was on the last stretch, the speed of 293 km/h was amazing. Out of all of the tests I have seen so far, that is one of the quickest I have seen on that particular segment:

The tone of this thread is going down, not good... like gengar pointed out though, this video is probably from tuning of the Nurb' edition. The steering wheel looks normal, which is the same for the Nurb' edition, but the center console lacks the carbon fiber. It's metal in the video. seeing as how when the Nurb' edition made it's debut earlier this year at Geneva, this video has to be from an earlier date, or it's not 'euro spec' and doesn't include the carbon fiber center console? Not that it'd make it any faster having that, but you never know what fine tuning was done over that course of time. I remember Autoblog had spy shots of cars including the Nurb edition about a month ago. And if what Lexus' PR is correct they were still fiddling with it. I bet it could go faster and probably does.

Krew at lexusenthusiast received a confirmation that this lap is only a warm up lap for an official lap time attempt later this year. I am pretty sure it would be more in-line with what Lexus had said earlier about "under 7:20".

Lexus Europe's twitter is where I get info from, but what was stated on there was the ring edition was still going through final tuning. That it was finalized and it'll make it's debut @Goodwood in a couple weeks.

Lexus claims 'ring edition can get "under 7:20" even without super slicks, which I suspect they will aim for if and when they do the official time.
I was blown away by the amazing acceleration of the 'ring edition despite all of the downforce and drag. It hit 293 KM/H on the last uphill straight (much of which is a 30 degree uphill climb).

It's way faster than what Horst VS was able to get. I question whether he had an LFA down on power, or the Ring edition has some hidden HP. 293kmh is around 177mph, that as fast as the Vettes down that straight.

I don't think anyone should be surprised that the more track-focused Ring Edition can outlap the regular LFA with its better aerodynamic parts giving it better exit speeds and therefore possibly higher top speeds at the end of the long straight, although we also all know Horst's lap times have historically been much slower than factory-claimed times no matter which car he drives.

ydooby, that'd make sense, but the REGULAR LFA already had the highest cornering speeds of the test 'rolla posted. This either means HVS was sandbagging, or that LFA was down on power. The Nurb edition is said to only have 10 more HP to compensate for the increased d/f. So the speed differential shouldn't be that high, plus he's supposedly an expert.

I love it how AutoBlog said Akira might be sandbagging.
Great publicity for the LFA considering it puts the seed in the mind that LFA is capable of much faster lap time and it is true as well since this is only a warm up lap and was never intended to be released as an official lap time.
In any case, I can rest easy now that there is nothing left for LFA to prove since it proved everything it possibly can that it is bar none "one of the greatest supercars ever built" and anyone who denies simply does it due to personal prejudices.
