Pearl Brown LFA at Lexus Escondido
Something strange here... Lexus Enthusiast reports that a Pearl Brown LFA was just delivered to Lexus of Escondido and the blog linked to some photos posted to a Facebook Gallery. The FB gallery is eight months old and some of the comments are from June 2011, but maybe they uploaded new photos to an old album? Anyway, MAYBE there is a new LFA at Lexus of Escondido and I'll post more here if I find out more info.
UPDATE: THIS WAS AN ERROR! IGNORE THIS THREAD!

Wasn't sure if it was the same one... even though the exterior and interior colors are the same. No confirmation of VIN or badge, and this one is in California, not Massachusetts.

Are you sure Darren? Escondido never took delivery of a Pearl Brown LFA. Also the pics that are posted are at the Port of Long Beach where they process the cars for delivery. If you look at the timeline, the pics were from June 2011 at Long Beach. The car was posted on ebay July 2011.

That brown looks stunning under sunlight.
Looks like Herb Chambers probably sold his LFA to another dealership and now they are posting it up for sale. In the meanwhile, they are using pictures of the original delivery.
That is what I can take away from it.

flipside, I'm definitely not sure... which is why I called it strange. Check the post:

***He updated the blog post and says that it arrived at Escondidio last June.... huh?***

Again, I am almost sure it is the Herb Chambers' LFA. He drove it around for a while and tried to sell it on his web page and then took it down.
Looks like he sold it to another dealership. Since he had driven it for a while, definitely it does not have the tags and plastic on the seats now.
Considering Chambers has Bugatti Veyron, Maclaren F1 etc., I am surprised as to why he did not want to keep the LFA? (maybe, it is the obnoxious interior color).

I shot a message to Escondido last night to confirm the badge number. Most dealers are very enthusiastic to respond to any LFA inquiry, so we'll see if those guys are on the ball.

Here I found a video of Herb Chambers displaying this LFA alongside his Veyron and Maclaren F1
You can see it is the same interior/exterior/wheel combo

Sorry for the confusion, folks -- I thought the photos from the Lexus Escondido Facebook page were new, didn't realize they were from eight months ago.
(Also thought the interior of the Herb Chambers LFA was Saddle Tan, not Orange.)
Regardless, I've updated my post with the correction.

Hehe... I've been chided several times for making assumptions about LFAs on here and I thought this seemed fishy, so I decided to put it through the CL wringer. Looks like it worked, haha.
