i have tried to stay quiet and see how a lot of people (not just on clublexus) respond, and so far it seems pretty positive from jay's reviews. i think that's great. his comments again echo what a lot of people (not just journalists but also everyday driving people) think of the car. some other cars do some things better, but the lfa puts everything together so well and balanced. that's exactly how i feel, what a package.
it's interesting when jay said toyoda brought the prototype to him years ago. i guess toyoda wanted him to get one but jay probably declined huh

Lamborghini only does single-clutch transmissions (Aventador, LP570-4 Superleggera, LP560-4 etc.) Aventador's shifts are far more violent than that of the LFA. Evo UK called it "back breaking".
p.s. So does Pagani Zonda R, Aston Martin one-77 etc.

Good post and agreed on all counts. Leno did say that he's spoiled by the double-clutch. I'm assuming he doesn't like those single clutch, automated gearboxes. I don't think any car in his collection has one. I know he's completely turned off by Ferrari and I don't think he has very much interest in modern Lamborghinis. Both makes have these gearboxes available as well.
