but on the other hand, i guess they just need to make sure the ad-a doesn't cost twice as much as the regular lfa. if that's the case and if they are willing to tell you more info now, i say you should consider
on the other hand though, you said if you give up your allocation in canada now, someone will scoop that up like that. but if you do that now and they end up not doing ad-a, that means you will have no choice but get one of the lfa already built and available in the US (assume all sold by then)? i would think you lose a lot of specific customizations that you like

I apologize for hijacking the thread.
Thanks for the encouragement, I have set the first part in motion. Fingers crossed.
Don't believe everything you've read on the internet
Also, I've heard that good divorce lawyers can really clean you out of all assets, not just half.

"first part in motion", what's the first part? getting out of your order?

My guess is, Lexus is going remain tight lipped and not say anything about the AD-A until the reveal happens. They might even pretend to be oblivious about it.

Rominl was right, the first part was that I gave Lexus the green light to go ahead with the new buyer. Since I had inquired about switching to an US LFA a couple of weeks back, the buyer was ready to go. I guess now I am risking not being able to get the right color combination if I had to go after a resale unit. AD-A or bust, are you listening Lexus ?
I did also try to pry some info on the AD-A without success.
S2000, I'd never planned on taking advantage of that verbal offer made a couple of years ago anyways.

A new video with a green Lexus LFA AD-A, but this time notice the exhaust routing is where it is normally in LFA and LFA NE
This basically confirms it is merely a Lexus LFA with the most extreme interpretation Lexus could come up with packing probably 600+ HP from the same 4.8 Liter V10.
There seems to be a lot of anticipation and hype over this car on the internet. I hope Lexus comes out with a big bang on this.
My biggest wish and desire is Lexus is the first brand in the world to extract 130 HP/Liter from this amazing production engine (I know it is wishful thinking).

Lexusenthusiast.com is reporting no official plans for an LFA special edition.
“These LFA units spotted at Nürburgring are one-off vehicles developed by the TMC technical division, and are currently being tested for technical purposes only,” Etienne Plas, senior manager of product communications for Lexus Europe, told me via email, “We have no plans to produce and sell any new special edition of the LFA.”
