That musical road is at W Ave G, Lancaster, CA 93536. It's off the 14 Freeway near Edwards AFB.
Here's a guy that did it at 100 mph in his IS F. Don't try this at home.
And yes the LFA does have an iPod connector...in the glovebox...and kind of a place to put your iPhone/iPod in:

Bummer, the links are dead.

Awesome review! I agree that the reason why the LFA got shot by the fighter the most times was because it had the least speed difference to the jet!

it is less flexible, but i think a lot of people are also doing it wrong on pulling. most regular seat belts, you pull and extend the top end, but because of the air bag, on the lfa you should actually pull and extend the bottom end of the seat belt. once you realize that, it's actually very easy to pull and buckle like other cars. took me 2-3 times to get used to it

I'm going to assume the yellow car was P014 - I've found P014 has a particularly annoying driver's side seat belt that for some reason is hard to connect, far more so than any of the production ones I've tried (Lexus' #32 or #144 or my own #47). The production seatbelts are still more cumbersome than "typical" seat belts because of the air bag, but I've never found them difficult to use really.
As others have noted, there is a USB connection in the glove. It works with a plain USB flash drive with mp3s on it. I've still never used the sound system while the engine is running.
I have noted in the past lack of cupholders. Maybe it's Tanahashi's not-so-subtle way of reminding us what the car is supposed to be for. I do think all road cars should have cupholders; of course, I mainly drink water, so it's not such a big deal (on the longest drive I took in my LFA, I just put a bottle of water in the passenger's seat; I suppose if you have a passenger, the glove can hold small bottles of water).
Anyway, great TG piece, thanks for posting. Hilarious at points for sure.

I believe Clarkson used launch control several times during the filming of the episode (the stop light drag race and in the storm drainage launch against the Viper SRT-10, you can see the word 'launch' appear in the gauge cluster).
Even at the Vegas speedway, Clarkson claims LFA was putting down the fastest times compared to the Viper SRT-10 and Vanquish so he must have used the launch control atleast once or twice to get off the line fast at the Vegas speedway.
For whatever reason, Lexus has always forbidden people from using launch control on #032 saying it does not have one. I am not sure why, but that is what Motor Trend and Insideline had said when they got the #032.
