Lexus LFA production ends
Thanks to LexusEnthusiast.com
Lexus LFA #500 rolls out of the factory and it happens to be a white Nurburgring Edition LFA.
p.s. If you have been following, Roy Mallady (owner of #003 LFA) had stated multiple time in the media that he has ordered the #500 and as it turns out, he ordered a Nurburgring Edition LFA so it must be Atlanta bound.

which makes me wonder. roy is selling his #003, and this #500 is not going to him. that's odd

Perhaps, he is bailing out altogether. Maybe, someone in Atlanta can verify.

i definitely hope not he's one of the very few lfa owners who are not shy to bring their cars out to different places, allow different people to ride in the car, and really promote the brand very well imho

I Don't think we should expect the guy in GA is bailing on LFA period.
Probably decided one is fine.
Just because he asked for 500 it does't mean they were going to accommodate that.
What is interesting to me is that he is not looking to trade in.
If I have the current taxx stuff straight he will lose 6% by not trading in.
That leads me to speculate the dealer is not offering a favorable trade in price.

So Long, Most Confusing Lexus Ever: 500th and Final Lexus LFA Built, Production Run Over
Lexus has announced that it has built the 500th and final LFA supercar last week, bringing a close to a two-year production run of what has to be the most paradoxical automobile in recent memory. The LFA’s screaming V-10 engine, hugely capable chassis, and techno-robot looks all are cool, but also are completely out of step with traditional Lexus dogma of quiet, luxurious competence. Don’t get us wrong, we love the LFA, but it was without question a bit of an oddball for a Lexus.

After previewing the LFA with the LF-A concept in 2005 (plus several slightly evolved, similarly named concept cars in subsequent years), Lexus finally put the LFA into series production in 2010. Even before the production car hit customers, Lexus had sent several LFAs racing. This year, the company added a high(er)-performance LFA Nürburgring package to the regular mix of roadgoing LFAs.
Lexus says it plans to utilize the carbon-fiber and fun-to-drive know-how from the development of the LFA on future models. But that’s a lame send-off for such an awesome performance machine—we think listening to the car’s high-pitched V-10 wail is more appropriate

This is one guy that has been one hell of an LFA ambassador and that's all that matters

roy is selling his 003 and will be getting another lfa. not going to be 500 but close. more details will hopefully be released later. roy is still very much in love with the lexus lfa and he's doing a lot for his upcoming "new" car.
