Damn I'm so excited for this, we were totally screwed the last couple of years. Could 2013 be the big year for the LFA?
When is N24 this year? I missed last year but Im going to make it a point to watch it this year.

The LFA was in SP8 class, it was an actual VLN race. Came in the top 30 overall. I do not think this LFA is the same as the one pictured at the beginning of this thread, but an 'old' model (like last year).

I was really hoping to see the new and souped up LFA this year as that is what they advertised and then decide to use the same LFA as last year.
So is there any chance that the new LFA would be used in the 24-hour race or Lexus will have to use the same old LFA in the 24-hours race as well??

That is good news. I really hope they use the new LFA for the 24-hours race and step up into the most competitive classes. I am sure LFA would do exceptionally well in the GT class. Plus it would be great to watch video of the new LFA in action.

GT Class? There all in some way GT's. SP9 is GT3 type cars. I'm guessing this LFA may stay SP8 or be in the EX class. Go to www.vln.de they have the entry list. There was a couple IS-F's in the race, one with Gran Turismo creator Kaz Yamauchi.
Here's a picture of the car from the side-
you can clearly see this isn't the LFA in the OP.

Thanks. That is true. It is the same LFA as last year. Looking forward to seeing the new LFA race car in the 24-hours race.
