This Lexus LFA Driver Shows True Dedication

"Driving a Lexus LFA at high speeds. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it." If you heard someone say that, you'd more than likely think they were joking.

Granted, it's been a while but the last time I saw her, she still owned the car. She just loves it too much!

True, she regularly professed her obsession for the LFA, but she said the sale became inevitable due to some personal circumstances.

All the journalistic bravado in the world will never eclipse real-world results of going over 150+ mph on public roads.....just sayin'.

"Sold For personal circumstances", indeed. Probably litigation costs...

We need an American Autobahn.

She never revealed the cost of ticket. She said the cop was very nice. Albeit, she had to hire a lawyer for it. 170 mph in a a 60 mph zone must have been very ugly for her no matter how big of a break the cop gave.

She still kept the LFA for quite a bit after this ordeal, though.

She said "168 mph" in the main article. I believe the video poster who was the camera guy in the passenger seat said the cop caught her on radar at that speed.

“Well you wanted more of the Lexus LFA, I was asked by many if I could get video of the LFA’s launch control, more reving, and faster driving, so that’s what we did. Got it to 168MPH!”

If that happened in Australia the car would have been impounded and quite possibly squashed!!!

I have not experienced myself but understand that in many states if you get caught going over 100 you are arrested and the car towed unless there is a driver with you who can drive the car away. Granted that there were not many others on the road, except the highway patrol, but that is really pushing the limits for the US highways.

watch the video again. going 168mph doesn't mean they got clocked at 168. watch the video, it recorded what the cop said and poster also posted caption
