I don't mind that brown paint, not what I would pick, but the exterior is fine. But it would have been a lot better with a saddle or tan leather interior.
When this mess was delivered my thought was to wrap it in a battle ship gray
Gray on orange looks amazing
This thing was a sad mess when it arrived and doesn't look better today
Asking absurd premium pricing for what originated as a flubbed opportunity to order a well spec'd LFA is laughable

This times a billion! I feel like they should have helped some of these owners out with color combos. Some sort of direction (if that was something they did not do). But on the flip side, we get mad when Lexus doesn't give us the freedom to spec our own color combos out.
Lexus did have a regional rep to discuss specs. When I went to the Lexus sponsored track event for the LFA at the Autobahn Country Club, the gentleman was there (Mr. Kelly, I believe and he is in the Kelly Blue Book family) with the LFA kit and I showed him the configurations I was interested in.
At the end of the day, Lexus did not have veto power to say, you can't have what you want (even if it was horrid).
Tough to have the strength to tell Mr. Chambers that his spec looks like doo doo though.
I wonder how it works with the Ferrari Tailor Made program, where they have some one who is more versed in aesthetics.
My position is that the whole point of custom vehicle schemes like McLaren's MSO is to build the car however the buyer wants it, but I wouldn't be surprised if programs especially like Ferrari's have some limitations on styling (perhaps even alluded to in the program description).

I actually really like the brown, though would want to see it in person to really determine that. Looks sort of like a rust orange, but the metallic flake really makes it pop. But with the orange interior, it just doesn't work.
The nearly endless choices of interior/exterior color combinations is one of the many things I love about this car.
Brown, green, pink - the color charts that I've seen are amazing.
