The Lexus LFA Nürburgring Package will make its official debut next month as part of Lexus’ display at the Geneva Motor Show.
This amped-up $445,000 USD edition of the Lexus supercar will only be available on 50 of the 500 LFAs that are being built, and this exclusivity brings additional aerodynamic features and technical revisions to improve handling and downforce, increases engine output by 10bhp to 562bhp and speeds up gear shifts in the six-speed sequential transmission.

Weight reduction is what I am interested in knowing.
Plus, the biggest thing is if Lexus is finally going to do what is desperately needed considering its name - a lap time of the track it is named after, which ofcourse is Nurburgring.
Also, they need to make Hiromu Naruse the center and focal point of the presentation. This car should be dedicated to him since he died perfecting this car.

Just the Facts:

GENEVA — Nearly a year after it was first announced, the 2012 Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package makes its public debut in early March at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show.* The limited edition of the Lexus supercar will add $70,000 to the bottom line.
* Only 50 LFAs will be equipped with the Nurburgring package.
* Output is bumped by 10 horsepower to 562 hp.
The Nurburgring Package will add $70,000 to the LFA's base price of $375,000. A matte-black finish costs another $20,000.
Lexus said the new package will be limited to just 50 cars, out of the LFA's total production run of 500 units.
The Nururgring Package features enhanced aerodynamics and downforce, with a fixed rear wing, a larger front spoiler and fin-type side spoilers, all made from carbon fiber. The suspension also has been retuned and mesh-type wheels fitted with high-grip rubber.
Output on the 4.8-liter V10 has been increased by 10 horsepower to 562 hp and shift changes on the 6-speed sequential gearbox cut to 0.15 second. Lexus says 0-60-mph acceleration takes less than 3.7 seconds and top speed is 202 mph.
Inside Line says: At $465,000 for the full monte, the most expensive Japanese production car ever. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

Fixed wing looks better to me, more race focused, which is what this car is about- serious speed and handling... If I were to get an LFA, this would be it- in white with black interior!
