Default ES300 yellow fogs not bright as it should be

I replaced my rectangular white fogs on my 95 ES with a rounded yellow fog from a 1993. I used the stock H3 white bulb that was from my rectangular fogs. It is very yellow but it isn't bright . I called Lexus and they said stock 93 fog bulb is 55w. How come I see all the other yellow fogs on ES are blinding bright that you dont' see it as rounded fogs, it spreads out, on mine you can see the circular fog.

Is it my car or is it the bulbs?

It's the bulbs.....

What did you do with the rectangular ones? I'll buy them from you!

I think it is the aim too. Both are pointing kinda downward.
I will probably put my rectangular fogs on Ebay.
Do you know where I can find the lower black grill piece to go with the round yellow fogs?

Why not hookup your Lexus community first? I need a the left one, cuz mine cracked when I hit a dog.. Hook it up!

Let me know when you ever put them on Ebay AFTER us of course ... jayrserrano@hotmail.com

Hey I got some in mint condition form my 95 and I'm pissed that they're not as bright as th eoval ones from the 93-94 series. I'm willing to trade or put mine up for sale on Ebay as well if I can find the circular ones that are the brightest. I even updated mine to the Ionic PIAA yellow crystal bulbs that hit me for 60.00. I can throw these in the deal too. Do me a favor, PM me if you're willing to trade but I'll also need the black grill that houses the circular ones as well. Thanks

What if I use yellow ion H3 bulb instead of clear bulb through the yellow fogs. Yellow through yellow. What would it look like?

The Yellow in the 92-93 fogs are due to a yellow filter. The birghtest it would normally get would be achived by sticking the brightest white you can get in the bulb, then having the projector take everything but the yellow out.

The Ion's look/work well in clear housingings, but IMHO a yellow that the bulb filters yellow on top of the yellow that the projector filters out would make the fogs dim compaired to just a bright white bulb.
