Default SilverStar Turn Signal bulbs (European Diadem comparible)

Do away with that yellow egg-yolk look!
For those you are interested, Sylvania has come out with a high performance turn signal
that gives you a crisp, clean styling of clear lens signal designs and produces 100% street legal amber light when lit. SilverStar Signal Lighting features the latest breakthrough in European Diadem interference coating technology to produce a signal lamp that is irredescent blue when unlit and legal amber when lit.

I remember someone on a Bimmer forum cutting x's in piece of cardboard and setting in oem turn bulbs(to protect the contacts from paint). Then spraying them with a lite coat of high temp silver grill paint. They looked similar and were alot cheaper.
Here's a link of someone who did something similar:

I have tried that method before, and quite honestly it does not work that well.
It's just as easy and saves you the hassle to just get the "buy and plug" bulbs.
Before Sylvania came out with their version of the Diadem type bulbs, I had purchased
the Philips Sivervision, and been quite pleased every since. Had them for about a year now.

Wow... Just looked at the price.... Don't think I'll get those anytime soon, little much just for a turn signal bulb.... but it would look so good... oh decisions, decisions....

They would work with a qucik and easy modification to the base of the bulb by filing down one of the two prongs.
