I bought a set of Philips 6000k 9006 HIDs kit and i installed it yesterday.
Did you ever try to install you HIDs directly to the 9006 plug? Like the 9006 plug directly to the ballast? I tried that yesterday and the HIDs work just fine with out all the wires.
And would anyone know if that would be ok?
Because they seem to work just as fine with out all the wiring and the relay and everything.
Can some one let me know if they did the same thing before?

Ive seen it done before, A buddy of mine has a bmw X5 and he bought the phillips unit and all he had to do was plug the 9006 socket right into the ballast without the use of the extra wires, simple plug n play. On another note...I had a 99 Acura Integra GSR and it wasnt as simple....I also had a HID unit with the ballast made by HELLA...it wasnt as simple as just plug n play...you had to Push two male bare metal pieces (one black one red) into the headlight socket of the vehicle, which I think is kind of dangerous, as with movement of the car it is possible that the connections will slide out of the socket...to resolve this problem I just took electrical tape and neatly taped the pins in....pictures below...

Why would anyone not want to connect everything? It takes like 5 min to wire it up...
Not to flame by any means, however it's things like this that I give NO sympathy for if something goes wrong. Headlights are just as important as brakes to begin with, and we all know the most important thing is to be able to stop!

Well i did this because i figure that if it works fine with out the wires its less hassle for me. SO i just wanted to know if anyone else tried this. and if it would be ok.

Could this work simply because your gs comes with HID? If so it already had the HID ballast and connecting directly to the HID bulb would work.
For my '96SC it's factory halogen therefore I need to connect the HID to the ballast that's capable of generating so much voltage required for the HID.

I think that's how I had my kit installed...didn't use the bundle of wires that include the relay or fuse, but had to splice a couple of wires to connect the ballast directly to the bulb socket, and then the bulbs to the ballasts. Wish I had a digicam to show you guys...maybe I can use someone's and post some pics up later.

well i also directly connect the stock connector to the ballast, and then the ballast directly to the bulb. the relay is between the ballast and the bulbs and they were there from the beginning already. but connecting the stock power connector directly to the hid bulb that i have never heard of
