Default HID for a 95 ES300

I've seen some posts about HID kits for a 95 ES300 but I find most lacking in some essential information.

So please, explain to me what I need to do to get HIDs in my car.

Go 9006 retrofit kit (philips either 4100K OEM color or 6000K blue) OR do the real thing. Go HID retrofit. In that case, the Audi TT / BMW 3 series model projector (E46) and ballast and wiring is the BEST way to go. ITs what I did. Do a search under ES300 retrofit and you'll be rewarded with a wealth of information about my project and others that have what you're looking for.

The second link (E46 projectors) is what you want (plus D2S bulbs/ballasts). The first link is for overpriced superwhite halogens; if you want to upgrade your halogens, do it right with either Sylvania Silverstars or PIAA Xtreme White.

Truthfully, you don't need much else. Just grab a set of E46 3 series Projectors like the ones we saw before, (if you can grab ECE versions jump on them ASAP...they are a rare commodity especially in this application...they're known for their brilliance in hid lighting and sharp cuttoff). Next grab a set of ballasts and bulbs. Actually, if you buy a package deal like this: ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2445180518 )

you'll be all set. You'll only need a wiring harness ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2445312954 )

to hook the equipment up to your existing wiring on the ES (which is the easiest part) and voila. I warn you though, if skill is what you lack, DO YOUR RESEARCH and ASK ALOT OF QUESTIONS BEFORE you begin the project. I had like 4-6 months of research and devolpment before I began my HID project. In fact with the new addition of websites like WWW.HIDFORUM.COM and even the HID FAQ( http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/index.htm ) all that time can be cut down to about 1-2 weeks for you if you're serious. This was my first HID retrofit project ever but it was completed within 12 hours tops. Now I can do the job in about 2-3 just because of the experience. Good luck bro. PM me if you want any further help. Also my AIM is the same as my name here.
