Default For those with STOCK HID cars......got a question

Anyone of you who own cars that have stock HID systems..I have a question for you.
Have ANY of you gone with the aftermarket more BLUE or more PURPLE kits?
And if you have..aren' the HID "kits" not compatible with HID projectors? Most of them are designed to fit in non HID projectors.

THe reason I ask is because i own and SC400 with non-hid projectors.
I currently have a Catz HID "kit" that is in there. I am planning to do a retro install of hella projectors designed for HID and have stock hid ballasts and bulbs put in. HOWEVER..I still like the eXTRA COLOR and blue.
I know you can get the extra blue in "KIT" form..but wasn't sure if they offered it as a replacement for stock HID kits. Is anyone following me on this?

If anyone does..let me know. Because I'd lke to have the retro projector that's designed FOR HID and also have an aftermarket "BLUE" to have a true spread of light and the cool light as well.

Thanks for your input in advance

Why add the 6000K into the hella projectors? With the hella projectors, if the retro was done right, the 4100K will give you that awesome flicker that 6000K won't. You will also still get the little bit of blue/purple around the rim of the light. The little bit of blue from 6000K is nice for a while but that's all it is. It stays constantantly purple. It gives no reason to have projectors. The guys at the HID forums would agree that if you go retro, stick with 4100K or around that range. If you REALLY wanted 6000K, phillips does have 6000K D2S for about $200 a pair. Anything above 6000K is not the best quality, as I have heard.

you will need to get new bulbs (just bulbs) if you have stock hid.

for example my is3, it has stock hid, i want the bluer 6000k look, i got the philips 6000k d2r bulbs and replace that. the bulbs from hid kits won't work in the stock hid housing
