Default pixs of a philps6000k kit on a 97SC

They are philips 6000k kit, they were too blue at first but after 20mins warming up they looking really good.
PIAA's H3's fog light bulbs are in the way..
For the record, the light isn't so scattered-it was due to the brightness of the light at night..check out the before/after..it's a better comparsion..

Nice... I have the same kit as you.. It should be pure white with a light hint of purple. I can't figure why it is blue....

I don't think Hella offers a 6K kit. From what I know...they offer only 4800K (which is a bit more on the yellow side than 6000K), 7500K (which is more on the blue side), and 9000K (which is pretty much purple). I could be wrong, but you might be getting just Hella ballasts with a no-name brand bulb that's 6000K.

BTW, the "after" pic in the before/after pics that BigD026 posted pretty much resembles the color output of the 6000K bulbs...just in case anyone was wondering.

ON the before and after pix, I changed out the wedge lights-Polarg M4's. They match pretty well.

I installed some PIAA Xtreme white bulbs(H3's) this weekend<My thoughts, they are slightly green?WTF?
nothing close to pure white or blue..or even a yellow?
I'll keep them on but i'm still looking for a better Fog light..

In reference to the post about Hella kits. There is no such thing as a Hella kit. Hella only makes ballasts, not bulbs. If this is a Hella kit from ebay, then it's going to come with a cheapo asian knock-off bulb that won't last long at all. Only get kits that come with Hella/Philips ballasts and Philips/Osram bulbs. No exceptions. Anything else will cost you a lot more in the long run as the HID bulbs are very expensive to replace.

I got my kit from KMimports just before Xmas, installed it extremely careful. I'm not sure why but from time to time, my left light will not light up and when that happens, my right one is just yellow-whitish..I turn it off and on until both of them come on as a nice blue together..
I was extremely cautious when i installed them not to power anything up and didn't toucht he bulbs, but i'm not sure what the problem is...i checked and changed all grounds and I'm still having the problems? Has anyone else had this problem? I thought about swapping bulbs(left/right) to see if it's the bulbs, but i wanted to ask before doing unnecessary work..
KMimports were very speedy, i just hope my problem is a common one and not something bad from KMimports. Hopefully whatever is it..will be a easy fix.
Advice would be nice,
BIGd
