![Question](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I recently purchased a 2002 LX470 and would like to know if it's possible to turn off the Daytime Running Lights. Is there a switch? Can I pull a fuse? Any ideas? Thanks!!!

The running lights appear to be dimmed brights, I think if you were to disable it you would take out the brights also. I am experimenting with different bulbs in my headlights. I am not fond of standard halogen since I have xenon in my other vehicles.

In the LS430 you can disable the DRL's by reprogramming the CBEST setting. The LX470 probably has a similar setting. However, unless you have a Lexus specific OBD-II tool, you will have to take your LX to a Lexus dealer to have any of the CBEST settings changed.
