ok how hard is it to tranfer i am talking how much money would if cost to retrofit a 2003 or 2004 HID from a LX to a first gen LS?

do you mean the entire headlight? if so, they are both squared haped but i'm pretty sure one is bigger than the other so some cutting will be need to be done,

but if you are talking about just the inside projectors it probly won't look right because don't your headlights have these lines on them which won't allow light to shine through right.

The LX (SUV) never has had HID lights, Lexus thinks the vehicle is too tall to have them. The LS (sedan), has, though; reflectors 98-03, projectors 04- . Like Jmai said, the scatterglass on your current lenses will need to be sanded off, or else the beam pattern would go crazy.

you can take the entire headlight from a 98-04 LS and bring it to a good body shop and they should be able to make it fit on the car.
