Rewired my fog lights ...
All I can say was that it was well worth the hassle. I went by BananaGS's tutorial for it but instead of pusing the wire (wire for the fogs), my friend and I just stripped it while it was in place and soldered a 14 gauge wire to it. Also, it isn't necessary to remove all the panels. Just get the left side of the bottom panels and you can take off the steering wheel cover.
This is what we spent the most on because there is a nut on the back right of the panel right under the steering wheel that was impossible to get off but later I realized that it wasn't even necessary!
I'll take some pictures of it tonight guys It's awesome driving around with only my fogs on now.

BananaGS has them on his site
http://bananags.netfirms.com
The only main differences.
1) Didnt have to remove the bottom panels ALL the way off (only the left side)
-- The whole goal is to remove the steering wheel cover to expose the green/white wire.
2) Didnt pop the green/white wire out of the multiplug thing for the light switch -- just left it connected but stripped it then soldered a 14 gauge wire to it.

HI98Gs told me there's a better way of doing it....I don't have the details.

I posted details a long time ago.
Using relays is a make-work exercise.

girvan - do you know if anyone has completed your setup on a new version GS equiped with DRL ?
if i only knew girvan had another way to setup this mod i would have tried his first, but i did BananaGS's way instead. I have to say though BananaGS's way was quite confusing at first. MAKE sure when you solder or if you solder the new wire on to the fog light switch pin be extreme careful, i notice i melted the pin wasnt fatal but just watch out. also i would go less than 14gauge wire maybe 16-18 because 14g IMO was way to big (i still used my 14gauge wiring but its like twice the size of the stock wires inside the car) and pretty much what ever else brendan said is gold.
EDIT: oh yeah the best $2.68 i have ever spent ... i had all the equipment just need the wires and prongs.

On my ES300, switching on the high beam will switch off the fog lights. I am not sure if it is the same with your GS300.
Some guys warned me that if you rewire the fog light you may burn the relays when you switch on the high beam and fog lights together! Is it true?
I'm trying to rewire my fogs, but still don't know how!!
