Default Retrofit Tools

Im new to this retrofitting stuff but I am tired of my SC's sorry Light output . I know I need A dremel but which one do you guys reccomend. I dont want to go out and Buy a $80 dremmel if really dont need it. Also I saw in another thread that someone used J.B Wield to stick the new projectors to the housing. Is there any other options?
These are the product I am about to pick up

2 - Brand New HELLA Generation 4 slim Ballasts
2 - Brand New Hella ignitors
2 - Brand New Philips 4100K D2S HID Bulbs
2 - Harness with (shielded) Wire Sets

Will I need anything else besides the projectors? Where did anyone who has done a SC retrofit mount the ballast? I just want to be super sure of everything before I go out and spend 500 bucks on stuff. I know that this is a common topic, but I am not getting certain answers when I search for them Thanks

A dremel is so worth it. I keep borrowing from my friend. I should get one soon. As for welding, you COULD zip tie it or try to use screws but neither are secure methods because they don't have strong attachments. You can use some double sided tape and mout it to the side of the airbox and the battery. Good luck.

Get a high speed dremel or it will crap out. You'll also need a SPDT relay and it's harness, inline fuse holder, etc to wire to the harness. You might want projectors too.

Sinquenzu thank you for helping me."SPDT relay and it's harness" what is that? And where do i get that from?Projectors I'll get those. Its just so hard to get E39 projectors. I dont know of anyone trying anything else on others on the SC's. Do you think the Bi-xenon are worth it? them seem to be more plentiful. Anyway thatks

SPDT = single pole double throw relay that triggers higher amperage to your HIDs. Sould be available at electronics stores. Bixenons are difficult because they have the solenoid motor in the way from fitting in the housing. I agree about the E39s though. They used to be plentiful but since so many people have found that it fits in their cars, it's just disappeared off the shelves.

Is there a place online tha I can pick one of these up(SPDT)? Live in Italy and its a pain when I need small things that you can get in the states but cant get here. Is there a diagram that you use to figure out where to plug everything up to? This is my first retrofit

thanks man
