Question Need help with Pos-Neg?

Hello all, I just got back from Afghanistan two days ago and I putting my car together now, anyway. I have a pair of Osram D2s bulbs rebased to fit 9006 and a pair of 02 IS300 Hid ballast P/N:85967-33010 but not the plug from car to the ballast, and my quetion is does anyone which is the positive and which is the negitive terminal on the 02 Is300 ballast PN/85967-33010. Also can anyone tell me what do I have to do to put this system in my 93 SC400. Can I just take the two wires from the standard 9006 bulb and connect them to the +/- of the ballast? or is there more to it?

You can use the regular OEM socket to grab your 12VDC and Ground to feed it to your HID ballasts. If you pop a fuse then maybe you should put a bigger fuse of probably 5A more.

You should use a voltmeter to identify which is pos and which is neg.

My HID kit came with a 20A relay fuse....so start it there. If you got the polarity mixed up...u prolly gonna pop the fuses for the headlights....mines are 15A for each side....to be safe...double check the polarity of the hookup b4 you hit the switch.

The darker/colored wire is always live and the lighter/white is always the ground wire.
