Lightbulb My new X5 projector retrofit on my 1995 Es300!

Any of you guys here that have been frequenting the HIDforum know that I've been busy these last few days perfecting my new retrofit....(you can read all about it here)

http://hidforum.com/forum/showthread...0210#post50210

I'm almost done...I'm left with sanding the lenses on the ES300 and then we'll slide home safe!

Here's some examples of what I was able to do with the projectors to squeeze more color out of them at the cuttoffs in addition to making the line more sharper.....ohh and by the way, I'm running Philips 4300K d2s bulbs with Hella Single Xenon E39 HID projectors from an X5 BMW. I got exactly the same cuttoff and beam pattern as the ECE Euro versions.

(the cuttoff at 50 feet away)

and the beam at 75-80 feet away from the car

Sorry for the hold up guys. I';ve been stuck in limbo with inferior Lexus lenses. They eat away at the output and worse, create more glare with the bottom dithered part. I sanded my right headlamp yesterday. It took the whole day to do but even then it didn't solve the clarity issues. Which leaves me with my final option....I'd like to transplant some plexiglass similar to this retrofit to achieve the ulimate goal....real OEM quality xenon lighting from my E39 projectors transplanted into my Lexus Es300. Here's an example of what I want to do by the next 48 hours

And his incredible output from VW Golf ECE projectors....

And no thats not done with 6000+K bulbs...he's using your standard 4300K philips D2s capsules. Its the cuttoff thats creating the color. I had to say this for the newbies that think going out and purchasing high Kelvin color bulbs will give you this output. The truth is...they won't
