Default Q45 Projector Mod???

I have a few questions about this mod. Whats the deal with doing it? I like it, and by no means am knocking it, but what the difference from putting on a Q45 multireflector Projector, than one huge single? Just a curiosity questions, I am possilby contemplating this, but would just like to know the fascination behind it. thanx!

I think it looks HOT. Too many GS's look the same to me, and when i see something like that, it REALLY stands out.

if i can recall there was a thread somewhere, it may have been here on CL about someone a long time ago doing this mod when the Q45 just came out, and they had before and after pics and the beam patterns looked more... better... (for lack of better word... )

It all depends on what you want. The Q45 is nice to look at outside your car. Peepz notice and say damn whats that from. A E39 projectors have way more color flicker to them and a sharper cutoff but you get the " Hey APC makes projector headlights for your car?" "Does it have the glowing ring thingies". My friend has E39's mounted in his car and its no biggie to look at.

Heres a pic of the lighting from it. It is an improvement over the stock HIDs but a Hella 90mm projector beats it in every way but cosmetic looks

cool beans. See, thats what i was looking for... the flat beam pattern. that ridiculously cool! ill keep doing more research and find what might work best. If all else fails, ill have to go with the proven pattern. Now, the question of the day is: does the auto level still work after the upgrade?

If you know what your doing I can still adjust mine. Im also going through a transformation and while I had the headlights open I added some new bells and whistles. Ill post pics when my car is completed.

hmmm... this has peaked my interest... im intrigued. What i might just do is finish what ive started right now, and then get going on all of that. Might as well leave well enough alone. OR, i might just by some extra housings and work some e-magic... I need to show you what im concoting with the tail lights... i think you guys will like...
