Removing Headlights on GS300

This may be a stupid question and I searched but couldn't find anything that helped me. How do you remove the headlight assembly? I have a 2001 GS 300 and i'm sending them out to retrofit HID projectors in them and want to make sure I do everything right. Thanks in advance.

Did you remove the front bumper? You'll need to in order to remove the headlights.

no, i haven't taken the front bumper off yet. I didn't realize i had to do that
