Hey everyone, pretty n00b status here.
I have a silver 2003 GS430, 93,000KM.
I bought replacement wedge bulbs for my car after one burnt out. I went to a local performance shop and picked up a pair of MTEC 194 LED wedge bulbs. After about 20 minutes of poking around and installing them, I'm quite satisfied.
They match my factory HID's nicely.
Thx for the suggestion! I just ordered a set of these, your pic didn't show but we have the same headlights so hopefully they match well.
For the other LEDs from amazon that don't throw an error code, I believe those are intended for European cars, the LEDs I just ordered came in two different formats, the canbus no error that look similar to those on amazon, and the led bulb type. I thinks that's the only difference
here is what it looks like on my car with stock HID
it looks a little blueish compared to 4300k because it is but it is also fairly bright and has the right resistance (wattage draw) so all is forgiven
overall my eyesight's judgement on it is that these are close to 5500k instead of 6000k
the only thing to watch out for is that these have a polarity to them so if they dont work at first, flip them and reinsert into the socket
Anyone would know where can i get that in Ontario.
Sylvania 168/194/2825 Premium White LEDriving Bulb
Here's another option to consider for those who don't like the look of the blue colored bulbs and exposed look of the led circuits.
Installed these the other night and pleased with the look and output that closely matches the HID.
A lot of these products are sold out or do not carry anymore Does anyone have a link to an LED bulb for my inner lights that does not give an error code on my dash? (98 GS4) that has a 6000k look to them? thanks.
I found this one, but I am not sure if it does give an error.
Dayam!! I just realized I started this thread 10 yrs ago....and lucky for me, I still got my 2GS. Technology has changed in 10 yrs...so I'll try out some of these new Philips LEDs from XenonDepot.
These Philips 194/168/T10 LEDs are super bright!!! It was no comparison to my ebay set. I think it pumped out twice as much lumens. In terms of color, they were really white...vs. my ebay set which had a bit of purple/bluish color.
Philips LEDs...
My old ebay LEDs...
Comparison...
Here are the same LEDs in my passenger side rear license plates...really bright white...compared to my old LEDs from ebay...lol.
If you want to get your hands on these...contact Steve at XenonDepot.

Random question: I saw that you were running the Philips all around [primarily] but what headlights are you running? Most of your setup looks pretty uniform is why I'm asking... Looks great though

Pretty new to the Lexus seen but definitely not new to the car seen. I have a Gen2 04' GS300 and was wondering without searching the whole thread does anyone have any pics of a perfectly uniformed light set up that matches the factory HID's? Im looking at addressing the ugly amber day time running lights too. Thanks in advance.
