Does anyone know how to replace the HID bulb in 98 LS400? Any place online where I can purchase the bulb at a lower price? My driver-side HID bulb flickers when I turn on the lights but it doesn't stay on. Does that mean the bulb is bad or there is a loose connection? In addition, the parking light next to it is not on either. It's too coincidental that both of them are out at the same time. I hope it's just a loose connection.
The auto shops charge around $150 for 1 bulb while Lexus charges over $300 for one.

You can shop around ebay but be careful. You have to change both bulbs in at the same time so that you don't get a difference in color. Both light being out seems to be a wiring problem upstream.

98 LS400? Search D2R under Ebay search and find a set for less than 70.00 for 2! Choose from Philips or Osram 4100K. Newer bulbs will be more whiter/yellower like when you first bought your car but quickly turn more bluer as they burn in. Enjoy
