ES300 HID RetroFit Pictures/Questions
Hi all,
Well, I was finally able to get a hold of a digital camera and get some pictures. First some background, this is a retro done by Illusion Lighting, and it certainly wouldn't be possible without them. There are still some issues to be worked out, but I think we narrowed it down and working to get it working. *sigh* Lets just say..I keep a bag of fuses by my side everytime I flip my HIDs on.....
Well here we go, picture time! I do have a few concerns, particularly with regards to the uneven-ness of output and sharpness of cutoff between my driver side and passenger side. I will try to explain what I am talking about as I go through my pictures.
Mods, if my pictures are too huge and is causing a problem, please let me know. The computer I am on doesn't have the right software for me to reduce picture side, so it might be huge....I apologize in advance.
Thanks for viewing.

Here I am in an indoor garage, up against the wall. I am PRESSED up on the wall..I noticed that on the driver side "output" has an extra spot of light on the upper left hand side that is not there on the passenger side. Would this be a problem? How do I fix this? Is this because of the shields inside the driver's headlight assembly? Would this blind incoming drivers?

I just like this shot...=)
Oh..by the way, is this too low? I recently re-aimed my headlights and since doing so, I noticed that street signs are no longer glowing in the dark for me a mile away (exaggerating, but you know what I mean). This shot was take from across the street.
I used the measuring method 25 ft from wall thing. My measurements came out to be 1'11" from ground to headlight center, and I think 2' from center of vehicle to headlight center. So, I made a vertical mark of 1' 8.5" from ground, and aligned it vertically according to that. I still haven't gotten it aligned horizonally correct yet, because I can't seem to turn those dang little ***** in the assemblies, but they WAY off, instead of crossed eyed, my headlights are pointing too off to the side.....
Hmm...just thought of if this would affect the above output?
Thnks
