I replaced my fogs with aftermarket 55W bulbs. After installing them and running them for about an hour - the drivers side bulb looked like it shattered. The passenger side is fine - no problems. So I went out and bought another bulb and replaced it. It worked fine last night and then this afternoon I noticed it had blown out again - ugh. I don't think it shattered the second time, just blew out. Any ideas as to what is causing this??? They are the same wattage as the factory bulb - 55W. I was very careful not to touch the bulb when I replaced them. What gives???

Checked if there's something wrong with the wiring? My cornering lights (rigged up to stay on together) started to blink (aka. Hyper Foglight?! lol
) and it was down to the wiring and connectors (melted), so check it out (the connectors too).

You're gettin' moisture in the compartment and it's shorting your bulbs out.... i had that problem,.. used some silicon and sealed the edges of the lense on th front and rear of the fog light housing and have not had that problem since....
see if that helps...
