Re: count me in
what about just the housing for the 2k1?
my hids are new! (just replaced per warranty)
will they run $300 since stage 2 and 3 are only $300 difference?
thanks.

So if I have a 2001 GS3, does that mean that all I need is stage 1? I am planning to pass on my aftermarket set to my gf's Integra...My aftermarket does have a little bit yellow and aims way high...Are these OEM LExus ballast and bulbs?

Stucked and Stressed out
Dear fellow Lexus owners!
You can't believe this, I just bought a OEM HID come with Ballasts and two (2) bulbs which pulled from GS300 2001. I have a GS300 1999. The housing in my 99' GS300 doesn't match up with this 2001 HID.
PLEASE HELP! Do I need a connector to fit the light bulbs to the existing housing in my GS300. God! Please someone helps!
If not then I have these 2001 GS300 HID comes with 2 Ballasts and 2 Bulbs for sale.

i had the same problem ... you have to consider:
buying whole new lens housing b/c HID and Halogen housing are different (those aren't cheap)
either way you go will not get auto leveling (there are sensors on all for wheels so yea...)
you will most likely get an after market HID setup for cheaper (try groupbuycenter.com look for the person by the screen name of discountcycle)
if you have no clue on removing the lens housing you will most likely have to get it done at a shop and that's $$$$ out of ur pocket
i went to the dealership and tried to see if they would change it also, they said outrageous figures so i was like forget that and on top of that there's no warrantee on it so if it blows out ur 150-250$ out of money again b/c replacing those bulbs are not cheap.

hey there, there is one more option, which is much cheaper. go for the PIAA's 150watt's conversion (stock is 80watt) it's so bright you won't be able to tell the difference from the stock HID. we tested (me ted, and justin) it's almost as bright as HID in every way. ) i have the superplasma purple which is 150 watt too, i am teling you, this thing is reliable and very long lasting. why don't you save money for something else (at least 500+) and get the same look!? just a thought. I luv piaa, it's the best in halogen lightning bulb. you wont' regret it.
