Talking X5 Retro In Progress *56k warning*

Had these lights and projectors laying around so on this rainy day decided I was man enough to attempt a retro lol Half way there but I think its turning out fine. Should finish it up in another day or so til then enjoy and let me know what you think?

X5 Projectors

I started off with this pvc pipe but thought it looked to bland as a stand alone.

Found these Chrome plated Floor & Celing Plates at Home Depot. They fit snugly around the pvc shroud. They are 2'' and cover up a bit of the projector but does not effect the output what so ever.

Painted....dont know what was up with my camera settings but I think this is a kool pic.

No screws using jbweld to fasten the projector to the housing. Going to use silicone once the jbweld dries to block out moisture.

Color from the projectors.

To be continued........................

Yeah just added one. Was actually waiting until dark to get better pics. In the garage though dark I was pulled in too close to pick up any color. I backed out about 20ft and took this with the garage door open. I'll try and do the same tonight but one of the projectors is drying from the jbweld so I may not be able to use that one. They are full of violets purple and deep blues.

What is that piece behind your A4 Bezel that you have on with the Valeo Projector?

Those are not valeo projectors those are Hella A6 projectors with an A4 bezel. The backplate is a painted high temp material Tiguy put on for me. The projector is sill mounted to the rear reflector just the backplate covers everything up.

Nice work! Looks really clean so far.

I just got my X5 retros in and was very pleased. I was driving around an 03 LS430 last night, and felt that my lights put out more than the LS. Lookin forward to seein your finished project.
