Default color difference between 4300k and 6000k

i didn't notice until i saw the pics on my computer. anyway, here are some pics that i took of my cars. my is3 (reflective) and sc430 (projective) both have the stock 4300k hid. on my gs4 (reflective) i have the 6000k philips hid. some pics to show the difference.

this one is with normal exposure:

this one is with 2 seconds exposure:

funny to note that from the pics it seem like the 6000k is a bit more purple, though in real life i don't think that's the case, it's more white and a bit blue

oh and all 3 cars have clear bra protection on the headlights too

Henry..first pic looks accurate...

real Phillips Ultinon D2R/D2S bulbs ARE in fact purple....I had this argument with Neo some time back...

It seems their conversion kits turn up more blue....

Mine are very purple-white and I have the genuine D2S bulbs modified to fit in our D2R housing

haha nah, you had the arguments with me too the pics turn out that way i can't argue, but somehow in person it still looks different

i tried to adjust the color in the pics and see if i can get it to show the color difference i see in person, but of course, failed

Hey Henry!! Three Nice Rides!!
Since when did you get the SC? Envy, Envy!!
The IS and the SC are so much brighter than the GS! Is it the just position?
I also notice that in day time when I turn on my 6k, it just look purple. Night - totally White!!

haha we got the sc430 during thanksgiving, there is a thread about it in the car chat and also the sc430 forum i didn't post it much otherwise though

it's the angle problem. actually i have another pic (just like the second one) and from a slightly different angle, and the sc430 becomes very dim looking.

you are welcome, being in CA helps, easy to find

just keep in mind, pics are sometimes a bit off. in real light they match up with 6000k very well, but still a bit on the blue side i think. but in general i think it's awesome, much better than m6 imho

Default Drugs

Am I the only one who noticed the neon sign saying "Drugs"? Not sure if you planned it that way or not, but yeah... I think I might get hooked on 'em

Rominl, what wedge bulbs are you using? They match perfectly with your 6000K HIDs.
