i'm sorry but you'll never get the same output from hyper white bulbs.

I've tried many when i was driving my CRX.

Hiper industries/Nokya/Mtec etc.. You might just get the same color but output wise, you cannot compare it to HID's. It's a night and day difference.

I got a philips kit on my car right now. While driving next to cars with Hyper whites, my lights overpower theirs on the floor.

You can easily find a used set of HID's for under $300.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to TXStyle. I bought the MTEC's based on his info and I am nothing but amazed by the quality!!! While Mikal is correct that there is still a large difference between HID/Non HID, these Mtec's are the real deal if you're on a budget. When I have a spare $300+ just for a USED kit, and have a day to install it (probably incorrectly!), then I'll get a set of HID's. Until then these MTEC's satisfy beyond belief!

Sorry for the delay with pics guys..... I know many of you want to see them in action. And you will... It's just been hectic as fok lately: Out of town, wife in the Pathfinder, tired. I will post pics, but I want to post "true condition" pics: Light shining down the road, side-byside w/ my 350 (hids comparo) etc.

Glad you like them mkorsu. I must say, I am still quite impressed at the look & output they give. Put it this way... I and she have had multiple inquiries about them thus far!

Default Which color best matches the OEM HID's?

Has anyone done a comparison to see which color/temperature bulb best matches the color of the Lexus OEM HID bulb? I would like to install something to replace the Hi beams (9005) that will be a closer match with my OEM HID's than the stock bulbs. I have already installed a PIAA LED to replace the wedge bulb inside the Hi beam housing that matches the HID in color very nicely. Can't stand the yellow/brown look of the standard bulbs when compared to Lexus HID color. I know that short of an HID conversion, I won't get the same amount of light output from the Hi beams, but at least I can get a closer color match.

Tony is right, Im a bigger build than he is, and I did it too. Takes a little bit of common sense and suffering through some pain but you can do it without removing anything (battery/airbox).

Default 4350K vs 4750K

I was just wondering if the 4750 or the 4350 degree K are a better match to the OEM HIDs. Both are pretty much in the daylight color range.

I'm planning on ordering some of these today or tomorrow, so when they arrive, I'll install them and, if I do get them, I PROMISE I'll take pics (along with pics of my other mods I'm installing next week)

Ok, just bought a pair of them. Hopefully they'll be waiting for me when I get back from skiing later next week.

Default I have been using these bulbs for over 2-1/2 years->

these are excellent bulbs for the money. I've tried PIAA, Silverstars and others none of them can compare to these. Boys these are as close as you are going to get to H.I.D. I have the 4350 in my Headlight and my Foglights,M4 POLARG in my corners and M6 POLARG up front and it all matches up beautifully. For those that use Silverstars and are happy with your results try these and I guarantee you will never go back to silverstars.
Regards, Jose
