Default Where to purchase OEM HID bulbs

Well, my passenger side bulb has finally dies (went pink for a week or so). I need to purchase some OEM HID bulbs. Anyone have any good experiences at a particular place? Also, while I am not looking for 'exotic'/deep blue etc... bulbs, I have seen supposedly Philips OEM HID bulbs on eBay for $40 or so....guy has great feedback - but hesitant. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Mechanic can get the Osram's (Sylvania) for $150 each, Lexus dealer is $225 each - OUCH.

Thx much

If I understand the forum's rules correctly, I can post an eBay link, as I am not the seller.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=36476

These to me look like valid 'low' beam HID bulbs that will fit my 98 GS400. I have purchased plenty of items off of eBay in the past, but for some reason I am hesitant - not sure why - maybe because they are 1/4 of the price for reputable stores (sometimes when it looks too good to be true - it usually is mentality). Rominl - Knowing all that you know regarding these vehicles/subject, are these valid bulbs? if so, I think I am going to get them - soooo much cheaper than any store/dealer.

Thx in advance

Well that's not the warm and fuzzy I was looking/hoping for. HAve you heard of bad experiences with Philips or you are hesitant to the potential quality of the bulb?

Fair enough....I figure since his/her feedback is excellent, and Philips manufactures a quality product, then I am going to purchase them. I will post back once I recieve/install them for others in the same situation.

Thx again

Well, I got the bulbs from akinaboy yesterday, and I chickened out and brought them to mechanic to install. Everything worked as promised. Other than the pkg a little suspect (not in philips oem box, just wrapped in bubble-wrap in a small USPS priority mail box ) I have no complaints, esp after I was charged a whoping $14 to have both installed - best decision I have made this week. Not bad, under $90 to have two hew HID bulbs installed
