"silicone was on sale" is what i said to when cody brought the light to me put on his car for the first time, i told him that by looking at the quality of the job he will run into problems....
the previous owner glue the back of the projector to the housing, to prevent leak he use silicone and cover the whole back of the housing....he even silicone the light bulb...very unprofessional. because after all that silicone on the back of the light, it still leak
the new set was tested with a 2000 psi with the gun shooting about 1 feet away from the housing. no leak whatsoever...
hope you guys like what i did

for cody's lights i did not mount the projector to the autolevel motor, but i am pretty sure i could do it if given more time.....
i adjusted to perfect level before i reseal the lights, i even let the cody come to sample it first before i seal them
left and right adjustment is still available thru the stock adjusment bolt
damn you got 3500 post, i don't even have 1000 on acura forums....may be i shy

is in cody's trunk right now, i forgot to take pic of the light before i start, but that pic with the silicone is what the guy TRY to seal the lights with...including that blue cover used to cover the bulb that can be came right off.....i think cody got pics of it when he just got it, don't know if he ever took pics of silicone though, it was nasty.....
the guy even used silicone to seal the lights inside.....the lens don't even line up to the original light "tab" is off by like 3/8"

Cody, I'm glad you didn't listen to that Saloman guy and we conviced you to keep the lights and repair them. They look great now. That Rev-01 guy sure did a good job. I saw half your lights the other day when I stopped by Samson's shop. It's hard to believe how good the lights turned out.

i would like to add....for those who are considering about doing projector retrofits in general....you should paint the housings...gunmetal color like mine or black....cuz it looks soo much nicer...and you dont have to worry about tiny fine imperfections...i choose to paint my housings gunmetal because matches the tint of my car very well.....as i said before...pics are coming
