redid my q45 headlights ;)
well thats how the headlights looked when i first got them
just to give you a glimpse of the amount of silicone used ...lets me just say that my q45 setup may have looked sweet on pics....but in person...I was just not satisfied...
reasons:
-i dont like seeing silicone...i know the q45 looks sweet from the outside but when you look at the back of the headlight....it seemed like silicone was on sale.
-when the back of the headlight is ****....you know the reliability is crap....which is the reason why soo many people will projector retrofits dont post pics of the BACK OF THE HEADLIGHT
- rubber trim is old, lens is scratched up, seems to have condensation, the housings were worn out
hold up dont worry...pics of the results are coming

Those arnt mine. Those where for the guy from canada with the ebay link. I think he was asking something like $1700 for his. I only wanted $1000 for mine with projectors in the highbeeams and 2 pairs of HID bulbs and ballasts.

oh man. that is a lot of silicone.
i have a slight problem with my projectors also. They project perfectly but they are aimed low. They don't shoot out far due to that. So 2001hightecgs is going to bracket mine in like he did when I go get my front lip repaired. I was thinking about siliconing it in also but i was told by Paul that the bracket is much better. On hightec's GS, they project perfectly and have a beautiful cutoff line which is what i'm hoping for.

YIKES Cody!!
Well...fyi...someone else is working on re-retrofitting them for him....and i guess more care should be given to the HID bulbs than just tossing them in a bucket like that...imo.
