I just need a little nudge in the right direction Also I have a plug and play kit with philips ballasts would I be able to use them? Thanks for the help

hey Mike,
I bid on these LS430 projectors and the final price was only $202. Would this have been good or is it missing a lot of stuff?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
It doesnt have the ballasts or bulbs but otherwise is it a good price?

I think these are the reflector LS430 HID headlights from '01 - '04, and not the projectors coming in '05 LS430 which have that wide and bright output.
The '05 LS430 projectors have the widest, brightest beam as far as i know, but not as sharp or colorful cuttoff as the S2k. If you are looking for a projector that combine all these good features, the modded TL bi-xenon projector is a good choice. It will give you a very wide, bright, colorful cuttoff and it is bi-xenon!!
I think it is possible to retro these projectors on the GS. They will look perfect!!
Examples of LS430 retro... HERE
and a TL retro HERE ...
BTW, all these projectors LS430, S2k and TL are made by same company Stanley..

Thanks for the reply Mash. I was wondering why they went so cheap. I think I am either going to go the S2k or the Valeo projectors. I think both of those will suit my needs. How wide is the beam on the S2k?

Both S2k and Valeo have good color and sharp cuttoff. While the S2k have the best cuttoff in term of sharpness and color, i think they are not as wide or bright as the LS430 but may be better than the Valeo. Also the S2k are the same as the LS430, they are expensive and not easy to find.
Good luck!

You have a set you want to sell me? I am pretty much set with the retrofit, I have just about all the parts purchased, so when it is done I will post up pics. The setup I am going with is not as sharp as the S2k but it has a nice wide beam pattern, nice cutoff and nice color output, and no it isnt the LS430, I wish I could have located that one.
