Hid ?
How much would a full HID set cost for everything on a SC400? That includes the housing (if i get new ones), bulbs, spheres, etc? Does anyone a place in So.Cal that does that right off the box and how much is the installation? Thanx.

For a Philips 6000K kit (bulbs + ballasts + wiring), $475 shipped. For installation, around $50...it's not that difficult if you're willing to DIY. I'm sure you could also get a member to help you out with it. FYI, the source that sells them and installs them are two different locations (Autotriks in Alhambra and Kembo Corp. in San Gabriel).

Is there any reason to go with one brand of ballast over the other? I've seen plenty of different ballasts available, not sure what, if any, difference there is between say a Denso Lexus OEM or a Philips or Hella ballast.
