Default SC owner seeks single, non smoking, attractive light bulb to match Silverstars

so how ya doin guys? i know i don't normally post here in the lighting forum, but who else to go to when i have a lighting question than you guys?

i read past threads i found about bulbs to match silverstars, and didn't find too much information i can find useful to help me out. basically i'm not doing anything new... i'm trying to find a 194 bulb (or whatever will work) to go in my cornering lights in my 93 SC to match the 4000K color of my silverstar 9006 bulbs. i've seen suggestions from piaa, which are close, but have that blue tint to them, and i want as CLOSE as a match as i can find. i also saw LED versions of the 194 bulb that fit in and are supposedly a good white match, but i haven't been able to find a color temperature to ensure they will be close. i'm kinda searching the same things over and over spinning my wheels here...

so what do you guys think? i'd appreciate any help.

the polarg bulbs have a blue coating as well but they are more white than blue, these i think would match an HID kit better than silverstars. asa i find my camera il take a pic.

The blue coating blocks some of the yellow/orange light the incandescents have too much of but lets the blue through evening out the color.

interesting. what i don't understand though, is why silverstars can be white with no white coating but these need a blue coating to be white? or is it that they end up a blue/white? i'm goin for white here, a match to the silverstars. like i said, i may be looking for something that doesn't truely exist, but i want to get as close as you can. if you guys can post ANY pics to give me even an indication of what bulbs will look like in comparison, please do. i'd really appreciate it.

i just ran across this pic of the polarg M4 bulbs that were mentioned along with M6 bulbs.

this isn't exact, but i think it may be close enough to work for me. chime in, i'm still debating!

I think it's becase the silverstars are halogens and there color temperature can be tuned by using different compounds in the bulb/filiment. 194 bulbs are standard incandescents and don't come in a halogen version AFAIK therefore they need a blue coating to raise the color temp.

ok apparently when i told the lexus guy at the dealership i wanted a bulb for my cornering lights on my '93 SC300, he thought i meant something else. 194 bulbs are NOT 1156 bulbs!! idiot. all ths time and i've been looking for the wrong bulb entirely. guess i should have just looked myself. well, the search is back on! now i need suggestions for 1156 bulbs.
