Default Pnp

I have a SC. SC comes with projector style headlights as you know which will give you good cut off line anyway.
I went with PNP. I am very happy with it. It took only 30 min to install. Cut off line is fine. (Yes it is not very sharp thin line like retro, but it is good enough like you can see it on IronCobra's pic).
Very good light output. Worth every penny ($300). They are pretty cheap now compare with about an year ago.

I was thinking about going with retro, but
1. Money it takes, time it takes
2. What if it starts having a water problem
3. What if you want to replace whole headlight housing

GS does not come with projector headlights. Because it is reflector style Headlights, they don't have clear cut off lines like SC unless you replace with factory HID headlight housing. I have a friend who got PNP on GS. It is very bright and looks like high beam is on because they are reflector style Headlights.

I've got a PnP kit at the moment but if cash prevails I'd much rather go the proper retrofit route. Not only will they emit the light properly, I'll also end up with crystal clear headlights

i just put a plug and play kit in the LX470. Im extremely happy with the results and i prefer not having the really clean cutoff like the LS430s headlights. Here is my beam cutoff on the LX470 with the stock projector housing and a XD 4.3k HID PnP kit.

heres a comparison to the stock 2005 LS430 HID headlight cutoff. I was going to post a picture of the foglights on and foglights off but even with them on they provide absolutely nothing in terms of more light...time for some piaa plasma ions imported from jaaapon.

PS both beam patterns are on an angle because of my ******y stone driveway and its slope.

Any reasons as why you prefer not to have a cutoff like the ls430?

I like not having the super sharp cutoff for the reason that i dont like to be able to see one area and the other area be totally dark. With the cutoff on the LX's Halogen projector it spread some light out UP. With the HIDs i can now see say, just before a uphill it still lights up the road a little bit instead of me looking up into the darkness before my car levels out and goes up the road.

I got PnP in my 97sc and the cut off is great compared to other oem projectors i've seen that didn't come with HID. I have a hid kit on my acura legend, no where near how the sc projectors look.
