Default HID kit for ES300 .....

Hello -

I currently own a 2000 ES300 that does not have the HID option. I'm interseted in upgrading my headlights and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I know that I currently have two options......
1) OEM upgrade path.....
2) Aftermarket upgrade

I cannot seem to justify spending the kind of money needed to get OEM lenses w/ the bulbs and ballasts so I'm leaning on the aftermarket route, however I'm concerned with glare and the cutoff of the light.
I would like to keep the look of the upgrade to be as close to OEM as possible. Can anyone provide any feedback on aftermarket kits installed in a ES300; what kit did you use and how did it turn out. Also, any photos of where they installed the ballasts would be helpful.......I've never seen anyone post a picture of that.

Again, my main concern is getting the OEM look of my headlight upgrade......as well as to increase the performance of my headlights. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Check the ES300 classified. Someone's selling ES300 mint HID lamps for 425.00 which I think is a steal for them brand new. If they're sold, I might be able to help you do this

here is the link to get them http://www.globalpremier.com/hid-kits.htm

it is unbelievable that they are giving them away at this price only 200 bucks.

these are not cheap......2 years now and tons of comliments

I opted for the XD7 HID 8500K....wich will produce a Violet color

Looks Nice !!! I've checked out many pics of your car.......

Do you have any pictures of the lights aimed up against a wall so you can see the cutoff ? How is the glare ? Also, any pics of the installation.....where you mounted the ballasts ?
