I have RX330 HID projectors, cutoff is perfect with D2 bulb. You have to use metal shields between mirror and lens, your picture doesnt show it , do you have it?
Anyway RX projector is to big to fit SC housings w/o extensive modification. I droped it cause IMO would compromise reliability of the headlight.
Now, on the picture I see polycarbonate bracket you made on the back of the MDX mirror, it look like it follows the contur of SC bracket, I wonder what you going to do with all the material sticking above bracket`s upper edge, how you are going to fit it in SC housing?

I see you guys got quite HID brainstorm in this forum, glad I found it, by accident though (okami dumped my SC HID thread down here...)
Now, get SC headlight housing and try to stick thet projector you have in it. This is where I stopped with my RX330 projectors. SC housing is very narrow....
Maybe you guys can come out with something here....

well the sc housing where the projector sticks out i think that hole is more then 3" wide the mdx's is a lil over 2 1/2" wide the rx's are 3" wide so the rx's would be a tight fit but a lil sanding would fix that

I can`t confirm your numbers RX are almost 4inches, 98mm exctly.
SC projector lil over 3inches, 78mm exactly.
That is 20mm difference, almost inch, no lil sanding here...

OK I see where we have missunderstanding....
Lets try different way, horizontal messurments you are making are not the problem, there is enough room.
Vertical messurment, taken where projector fits housing, where parabolic mirror mets lens bracket. That what I`m talking `bout...
